Tall Tales from the Patterson Ranch

Well, at long last, I’ve gotten around to taking pics of the new bathroom. The demo started in July and the fixtures were in place and working within a month, but it took me a bit longer to finish all of the drywall work, the floor, and trim. We ran into some strange surprises during the demolition. Here’s some quick before and after shots. You can read the whole story about the bathroom remodel on the static page Downstairs Bathroom.

Here’s the bathroom before the fix (notice the lack of any bathing apparatus).

Here’s a shot from the same angle as the one above. We put in a 48″ shower stall and moved the washing machine downstairs next to the dryer.

The old vanity didn’t fit with the new shower, which was fine because it was old and water damaged. It needed replacing anyway.

Best of all is the new sign on the door. …not that people will need a sign to know what the room is once they open the door.
